About GreenScope

Our objectives at GreenScope are to accelerate the digital and green transition in environmental monitoring by helping universities, students, and stakeholders adopt modern tools such as Earth Observation (EO) and LiDAR. We aim to bridge the gap between traditional monitoring approaches and emerging digital technologies by equipping the next generation of professionals with the skills needed to interpret environmental data, detect change, and support evidence-based decision making. Ultimately, GreenScope strives to make environmental monitoring more accurate, efficient, and accessible, helping societies respond better to climate and ecosystem challenges.

Our main goals:

  • to equip students and educators with essential EO/LiDAR and geospatial data skills for smart environmental monitoring,
  • to strengthen trust, awareness, and understanding of data-driven environmental practices across sectors,
  • to modernise environmental education through practical, interdisciplinary learning resources and innovation labs.

Who are we targeting?

  • Higher Education students in environmental science, geography, geoinformatics, forestry, water management and related areas
  • Vocational Education and Training learners in environmental, technical, or geospatial fields
  • University teachers and trainers seeking to introduce EO/LiDAR and geospatial data into their teaching
